Sitting just a short walk from Woodleigh mrt are the black and white bungalows with the same name - Woodleigh Park.
To be honest there seems no information on these homes on the Internet and after questions I've drawn a blank. The best I can come up with is that they are government housing. Nearby is the PUB may be if this has been here for a long time, maybe they were built for them?
Close by were the cemeteries that made up Bidadari and now Bidadari memorial garden http://www.singaporetales.co.uk/2014/08/a-fairy-cemetery-bidadari.html Now cleared and the memorial garden itself is to be incorporated in the new town of Bidadari.
Whatever the history of these homes they are still striking buildings set in a lovely secluded wooded setting,
If anyone can shed some history on these please let me know :)
